Authors submitting manuscripts to AHCJ must thoroughly read and understand this Ethics Policy before submission. Research misconduct compromises the growth of knowledge and may mislead the scientific community. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism screening and ethical review. Any content found to be plagiarized or unethical will be rejected immediately.
Editors Shall:
Uphold the integrity, fairness, and credibility of AHCJ at all times.
Ensure publication of scientifically sound, authentic, and relevant work that contributes to Ayurvedic and integrative health research.
Verify that all significant contributors are properly credited and affiliations are accurately listed.
Ensure a confidential, unbiased, and objective peer review process for all submissions.
Provide fair and timely communication to authors regarding the status of their manuscripts, including clear reasons for acceptance or rejection.
Make editorial decisions solely based on the quality, originality, and relevance of the research, not personal bias or institutional affiliations.
Ensure that authors have obtained necessary ethical and third-party permissions before publication.
Maintain open and professional communication with both authors and publishers throughout the editorial process.
Reviewers shall:
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the manuscripts assigned to them. They must not share, reproduce, or use any unpublished data for personal benefit.
Accept for review only those manuscripts that fall within their area of expertise and can be reviewed objectively.
Provide constructive, unbiased, and timely feedback to help authors improve their work.
Declare any conflicts of interest that may influence their evaluation of a manuscript.
Abstain from using the content of submitted manuscripts for their own research before publication.
The Ayurvedic Health Care Journal shall:
Use reliable plagiarism detection tools at all stages of submission and publication.
Maintain a transparent and well-defined submission and review process, including clear author guidelines related to referencing, formatting, and ethical requirements.
Investigate any allegations of ethical misconduct—including plagiarism, fabrication, or authorship disputes—with impartiality and fairness.
Retract or issue corrections for any published paper found to be unethical, misleading, or erroneous, accompanied by a public statement of explanation.
Ensure open communication among editors, authors, reviewers, and the publishing team.
If a manuscript or published article is found to involve ethical misconduct, the AHCJ Editorial Board reserves the right to:
Conduct a transparent investigation.
Request clarifications, supporting data, or corrections from the author(s).
Reject or retract the article, depending on the severity of the issue.
Authors are expected to cooperate fully during such proceedings.
